Yesterday we went to a small market in some even smaller streets of Taipei. First we bought some fresh Sashimi including tuna, salmon and another fish nobody seems to know the English name from. While watching the woman preparing the fresh fish I would not have had expected that the preparation of the sushi would be even more interesting and entertaining. But the “Sushi-Hannes” did a real good job. I had always enjoyed watching the ladies in Paderborn preparing the sushi, but the “Sushi-Hannes” had a few more ingredients per role and he did it much quicker. Finally we ended up with a good combination of sushi and sashimi which were a great dinner with the combination of some nice wine, as you can see below.
